Supermarket: Coming Soon!
Food poverty is an issue that has affected our town increasingly. We want to offer an alternative way of shopping that reduces weekly household costs but promotes choice and dignity for those accessing the supermarket. The social supermarket will be a weekly shopping experience at a reduced cost. A choice of fresh, canned and frozen food will be on offer for shoppers accessing the social supermarket. Friendly volunteers will offer the chance to connect and check-in, perhaps opening up other opportunities to support shoppers.

Messy Church
Messy Church is a different way of doing church. It’s for families who don't already belong to a church, at any stage of faith. Happening monthly on Saturday mornings at St. Peter's, it is Christ-centred, for all ages, based on creativity, hospitality and celebration. Expect crafts, snacks, stories and songs. A joint venture with Elim Church, Loughborough.

Safehaven Cafe
Safehaven Café is a 5-week well-being café for parents with young children who need support with their wellness. Our café serves meals, gives families the opportunity to meet others, be heard, and pick up useful skills through interactive sessions. The programme started in 2016 and since then we have run the café with over 60 families, taking referrals from a number of local agencies. If you would like to make a referral for our next course, please get in touch.
